Historical soul food restaurant in Memphis. Had the catfish with sweet potatoes and cole slaw. Really loved the food, service, and history.
Was first introduced to this restaurant during a Bust-a-Move Monday business support community event. This was movement where our church went to support local black-owned businesses in the Memphis region. I have been patronizing this restaurant ever since. I have tried a lil bit of everything on the menu and it always fresh and delicious. So, if you like soul food then this is the restaurant for you 10+ stars for great service and reasonably priced food
I had an amazing lunch today at Four Way with a large group of my Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dears. The servers were attentive to every need for almost 60 Dears. The food lived up to its name - delicious, generous serving and reasonably priced. Today I tried a new item- a fried catfish sandwich. It reminded me so much of the famous New Orleans PoorBoy! It was crispy fried and served with sliced pickles, sliced onions and a bit of tartar sauce. Simply delicious! I was too late in ordering a slice of lemon pie. It was sold out.
One of my favorite memphis restaurants. I have never had anything that wasn't delicious. The sweet tea reminds me of my great grandmothers!
The fried catfish, cornbread, and mac and cheese, were incredible however the candied yams and the fried shrimp were the best I've ever had in my life. A must stop in Memphis.
